Throughout the year Wedgwood Visitor Centre plays host to special events and during children's holidays there are extra activities to enjoy such as drop-in creative workshops, treasure trails, free activity packs and competitions. Visitors are positively encouraged to roll up their shirt-sleeves, get their hands dirty and "have a go" at mastering the skill and craft ceramic making for themselves! Skills to try include throwing on the potter's wheel, painting a plate, ornamenting a pot and creating unique lithographed designs. And children (of all ages!) especially enjoy painting fun animals as well as making and dipping flowers.
Factory Tour Season

Go behind the scenes on a tour of the working factory to see a fascinating view of traditional and modern ceramic production. Learn about the processes that turn raw clay into fine bone china and Wedgwood Jasper.
Toursim and Attractions Show

Following on from the successful 2013 Tourism & Attractions Show, which took place at the Wedgwood Visitor Centre. The 2014 event will be held at The Ironbridge Gorge in Shropshire and is not to be missed! This show is organised by Group Travel Organiser magazine and Landor Travel Publications Ltd, in association with Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust and will take place at Enginuity Museum, Coalbrookedale, on Saturday 8th March 2014.
This FREE ADMISSION show will provide group travel organisers, event organisers and members of the travel trade with new inspiration for places to visit and things to do with their groups and hold events. It is great opportunity for organisers and businesses to discuss their equirements face-to-face and pick up new and exciting ideas for itineraries and venues in the Staffordshire, Shropshire, Cheshire, The North West and North and Mid Wales regions.

Pom Pom chicks in baskets. Come in and celebrate all things spring with our Pom Pom chick workshop. Create your own Pom Pom chick or bunny and basket. Take a wander around our gallery with our Easter trail, find all the answers and receive a seasonal treat. Workshops are open to children of all ages.
